DAR ES SALAAM: The Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is planning to empower its members to be in a good position to access various tenders announced by both the public and private sectors.
This statement was made on Wednesday by TWCC’s Executive Director, Mwajuma Hamza, during a one-day workshop for young and female entrepreneurs held in Dar es Salaam.
The director emphasized that TWCC has high expectations for women and youth in driving business growth and development across the country.

Participants at the workshop shared their views, noting that success in business is often linked to diligent work, which leads to securing sufficient tenders from both the public and private sectors.
Jacqueline Mkina, the chairperson of the Bunju Women Group, expressed her gratitude to TWCC for the training they provide on tenders and for helping them understand where to secure funding from banks to support their work.
The Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is an organization dedicated to advocating for the economic empowerment of women and youth in Tanzania.
Through training, workshops, and capacity-building programs, TWCC seeks to bridge the gap in business opportunities for these groups, particularly in areas like procurement where access and participation have historically been limited.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that women and youth are not only aware of these opportunities but also equipped to take full advantage of them.
